Intelligent Advisor Release 25C (12.2.40) is now available for public cloud customers.
Be sure to also review the features added to 25B since our last post.
Hub choice of Oracle Policy Modeling install (Monthly Update 1)
In Intelligent Advisor Hub, you can now choose to download a Policy Modeling version other than the one associated with the build version of the Hub. These alternative versions are listed in the About dialog in the Hub and include the two previous versions of Policy Modeling, and the next version of Policy Modeling (if available).
Tasks list in web projects
There is now an additional tab on the left panel for decision service and flow projects which displays a Tasks list. This provides at-a-glance visibility of existing errors and warnings in a project, as well as adding the capability for authors to create their own tasks. Specifically, you can see:
- Warnings for any unused values in the project. This allows you to quickly identify areas that may need work by seeing fields that are never used.
- All of the errors in the project that need addressing. This enables you to see all errors in one place and to identify hotspot areas of the project where work is still required.
- The “To Do” type tasks that users can now add to rules documents. This helps keep track of future planned work, directly in line with your project content.
The Tasks list can be searched and filtered across the whole project, including by type and location.
Review test suites and test run results
A new Testing page has been added to the Hub, providing a user-friendly interface that leverages the extensive capabilities of the Test Suites REST API. Business users can now access a consolidated dashboard displaying all test suites previously created via the API, along with the most recent test run statuses, making it simple to start new test runs and review result histories across both Policy Modeling and web-authored decision service projects. This empowers business stakeholders with immediate, comprehensive insight into the quality of all Intelligent Advisor projects—no technical expertise required. By tracking changes in test results over time, users can see clear evidence of progress toward project release readiness, confidently validate rule changes, and ensure rules perform as expected before deployment.
Custom properties in transcripts
Custom properties on screens and controls are now included in interview transcripts. This can be useful where:
- An interview designer wants a custom property that applies styling to a control to be present in the transcript so that any downstream application has the information needed to also restyle that control.
- An interview designer wants to use a custom property to indicate that the transcript, or part of the transcript, needs special handling in a connected application.
Note that to take advantage of this feature you need to generate the transcript in the new 12.2.40 format.
