Oracle Permitting and Licensing 23D has been released on October 6, 2023. This release includes new features for each of our product offerings: Permits, Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, and Business Licenses.

Over 25 features have been included in 23D –

Permits: Subapplication Enhancements

Subapplications enhancements for agency staff members round out the robust capability of the feature. With these new enhancements, agency staff can now add a primary application to a subapplication from the permit’s Overview page, change the relationship type of an unlinked primary application or subapplication, and link a subapplication or multiple subapplications to a primary application.

Additionally, search enhancements have been introduced to limit the search for subapplications to only the property listed on the intake form.

Planning and Zoning: New Planner Worklist Tabs

Two new tabs have been added to the Planner Worklist – “All Activities” and “All Applications”. All agency planning staff can view these tabs but only those with elevated access can update planning applications and activities assigned to other planners. This gives planners insight into the overall work being done in the agency and allows supervisors and managers to update activities and applications if needed.

Business Licenses: Communication Tab for Business Entity Overview

All agency staff can view the communications for a business using the new “Communication” tab on the Business Overview page.

Additionally, using the Send Message action on the Locations grid, you can send ad hoc messages to the business making it easier for you to quickly send communications to business locations for quick questions and follow-ups.
