This post details the December 2021 releases.

Exadata System Software 21.2.7.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 21.2.7.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of 21.2.X releases. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 21.2.6.0.0 released in November 2021
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Updates for Oracle Linux 7 and Oracle Linux 6 with critical and security updates
  • Updated ILOM 5.0 firmware on X9-2 servers with the latest important fixes and security updates

  • Exadata 21.2.7.0.0 release and patch (33666368) (Doc ID 2818842.1)

 

Exadata System Software 20.1.17.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 20.1.17.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of 20.1.X releases. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 20.1.16.0.0 released in November 2021
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Updates for Oracle Linux 7 and Oracle Linux 6 with critical and security updates

For additional information :

  • Exadata Database Machine and Exadata Storage Server Supported Versions (Doc ID 888828.1)
  • Exadata 20.1.17.0.0 release and patch (33668193) (Doc ID 2818841.1)

Customers using Exadata X8M should update to Exadata System Software 21.2.x.0.0.

Note: Starting 20.1.x.0.0 release, the Cell/DB ISO/PXE image files are available only on edelivery/OSDC :
1. Part V1018228-01 – Storage cell ISO/PXE image (20.1.17.0.0.211221)
2. Part V1018229-01 – Database server ISO/PXE image (20.1.17.0.0.211221)
