Oracle E-Business Suite customers should run on a database that is covered by Error Correction Support (ECS). As previously announced, as December of 2025, EBS no longer provides testing or error correction support for environments running Oracle Database 11gR2 or 12c.

Most EBS customers have by now completed upgrades to Oracle Database 19c. If you are still running an older Oracle Database release, you should make plans to upgrade to Oracle Database 19c or Oracle AI Database 26ai as soon as possible.

Apply Critical Security Updates Without Delay

Artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly accelerated the pace at which software vulnerabilities are discovered, increasing the urgency for rapid response and remediation.

You should promptly apply the latest database releases updates (DBRUs) to maintain a secure environment. For more information, see the following guidance from our colleagues in Oracle Database development: Take Action Today: Protect Your Oracle Database Against AI-Enabled Cybersecurity Threats
