Does your Business require to stage few lines of Ship set instead of backordering while other lines are marked for replenishment?
As per the new 12.2.9 feature of Oracle Inventory, when any delivery line which is part of a Ship set is replenishment requested, remaining delivery lines are released to the warehouse instead of the backorder. Before this, entire ship sets are shipped together or gets completed back ordered when the Forward Pick area has insufficient Available Quantity for any line and no replenishments are created.
To achieve this functionality, the Sales order needs to be defined with ship set and order line quantities to be partly available in forward pick subinventory and remaining in source subinventory. Mandatory setups to be taken care of for shipping and pull replenishment, Enforce ship sets and ship models option should be checked in shipping parameters, sourcing and forward pick subinventory details to be defined, item subinventory and min max details to be setup.

After booking and pick release of sales order with pull replenishment, Delivery Lines which have the quantity to be replenished will be in Replenishment Requested status, and lines which have quantity in Forward Pick Subinventory are Staged.
