Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Cloud Manager Release 25.1.0 is now available, and includes the following enhancements:
- Support for Running the EBS Cloud Manager Virtual Machine (VM) on Oracle Linux 8
- You can now run EBS Cloud Manager on Oracle Linux 8 as well as Oracle Linux 7. For instructions on upgrading the operating system, refer to Upgrade the Operating System of the Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager Virtual Machine.
- Option to Select Operating System Version and Build
- When provisioning an application tier or a database tier on Compute as part of Advanced Provisioning or Standby Promotion operations, you now have the option to select from the available OS builds for your chosen OS version. All OS details are listed on the Environment Details pages.
- Capability to Select ECC Framework Image Version
- When provisioning ECC, you can now select from a list of available ECC Framework Image versions.
Where Can I Obtain the Latest EBS Cloud Manager?
This depends on whether you are already using Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager.
- To install EBS Cloud Manager for the first time, follow the instructions to Implement Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager in Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager Guide.
- To update an existing EBS Cloud Manager installation, follow the instructions to Update Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager to the Latest Version.
