The first online innovation webinar, “Reboot Culture – Rebuilding Knowledge in a Digital Future,”took place on February 26, 2026 for Italian faculty and students. This first webinar was a turning point in the Reboot Culture project, on which the students had already worked in two previous in-person sessions.
The webinar was an opportunity to consolidate Oracle APEX skills and above all, to explore the potential of artificial intelligence in a digital culture as well as reinforce an important message: the quality of a digital platform depends not only on the initial concept, but on the details with which its technical structure is designed.
The students were able to clarify any questions that emerged during the early stages of project development and receive practical guidance on how to optimize features already created.
Integrating humanity and technology
The most challenging part of the meeting was dedicated to artificial intelligence. The focus was not only on its technical capabilities, but also ethics. Students were asked to reflect on how to use AI responsibly, preventing it from replacing critical thinking or standardizing content. AI, in this perspective, becomes an amplifier of culture, not a substitute for it.
Another central aspect of the webinar was the link between vision and implementation. Integrating AI means making strategic choices: What problem do we want to solve? How does this feature really improve the platform? Is it consistent with the objective we have defined?
These questions prompted teams to rethink some elements of their projects. For some, it was time to enrich the concept with new intelligent features; for others, to simplify and focus on what generates the greatest value. In both cases, the webinar helped make the platforms more mature and aware.
The webinar consolidated the technical foundations and introduced an innovative dimension that can make a difference in the final version of the projects. But above all, it has strengthened participants’ awareness that technology and culture are not separate worlds: they can discuss, contaminate each other, empower each other.
The Reboot Culture project continues its journey, with platforms beginning to become not only digital spaces, but intelligent ecosystems of shared knowledge.

Il primo webinar online sull’innovazione, “Reboot Culture – Rebuilding Knowledge in a Digital Future”, si è tenuto il 26 febbraio 2026 per docenti e studenti italiani. Questo primo webinar è stato un punto di svolta nel progetto Reboot Culture, su cui gli studenti avevano già lavorato in due precedenti sessioni di persona.
Il webinar è stato un’opportunità per consolidare le competenze di Oracle APEX e, soprattutto, per esplorare il potenziale dell’intelligenza artificiale in una cultura digitale e rafforzare un messaggio importante: la qualità di una piattaforma digitale dipende non solo dal concetto iniziale, ma dai dettagli con cui è stata progettata la sua struttura tecnica.
Gli studenti sono stati in grado di chiarire qualsiasi domanda emersa durante le prime fasi dello sviluppo del progetto e ricevere indicazioni pratiche su come ottimizzare le funzionalità già create.
Integrare umanità e tecnologia
La parte più impegnativa dell’incontro è stata dedicata all’intelligenza artificiale. Il focus non era solo sulle sue capacità tecniche, ma anche sull’etica. Agli studenti è stato chiesto di riflettere su come utilizzare l’intelligenza artificiale in modo responsabile, impedendogli di sostituire il pensiero critico o standardizzare i contenuti. L’IA, in questa prospettiva, diventa un amplificatore della cultura, non un sostituto di essa.
Un altro aspetto centrale del webinar è stato il legame tra visione e implementazione. Integrare l’intelligenza artificiale significa fare scelte strategiche: quale problema vogliamo risolvere? In che modo questa funzionalità migliora davvero la piattaforma? È coerente con l’obiettivo che abbiamo definito?
Queste domande hanno spinto i team a ripensare alcuni elementi dei loro progetti. Per alcuni, è stato il momento di arricchire il concetto con nuove funzionalità intelligenti; per altri, di semplificare e concentrarsi su ciò che genera il massimo valore. In entrambi i casi, il webinar ha contribuito a rendere le piattaforme più mature e consapevoli.
Il webinar ha consolidato le basi tecniche e introdotto una dimensione innovativa che può fare la differenza nella versione finale dei progetti. Ma soprattutto, ha rafforzato la consapevolezza dei partecipanti che la tecnologia e la cultura non sono mondi separati: possono discutere, contaminarsi a vicenda, potenziarsi a vicenda.
Il progetto Reboot Culture continua il suo percorso, con piattaforme che iniziano a diventare non solo spazi digitali, ma ecosistemi intelligenti di conoscenza condivisa.
