Oracle Academy attended “MHESI FAIR 2024: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND,” from July 22-28, 2024. This incredible seven-day transformative education technology event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
The free event aims to create awareness, inspiration, and investment opportunities while showcasing the power of innovations. The exhibitions brought together interdisciplinary fields of science, research, education, and technology from universities and 170 research organizations nationwide, with over 200,000 attendees both onsite and online.
On this occasion, Chinnawat Khottassa, Oracle Academy Program Consultant, Thailand and Vietnam, participated in the booth exhibition in Zone B: Science for Lifelong Learning. At the Oracle Academy booth, he engaged educators and students who had visionary interest in learning technology and developing knowledge and skills.
In conjunction with the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT), Oracle Academy collaborates to promote academic cooperation and Oracle Academy database and Java curriculum. This fair offered a golden opportunity to connect and discuss with leaders and educators from leading universities/colleges and other academic institutions from across Thailand and to deliver the vision of the Oracle Academy program. Chinnawat shared how educators can use free Oracle Academy teaching and learning resources for their students, as well as hiring trend insights and recommended career-relevant skills development.
A session on Generative AI and Oracle APEX by Dr. Sorapak Pukdesree, School of Information Technology and Innovation, Bangkok University, encouraged attendees with innovative ideas on how easy it is to use Oracle APEX as a powerful low-code/no-code application development tool.
Two Oracle Thailand Cloud Engineering experts, Surattana Tungsagunwattana and Kowit Treworakulchai, shared information about trends of data and AI, and the importance of adopting AI for competitive advantage and enhanced learning. They stated that now is the era of “AI Everywhere,” with AI becoming an innovative tool humans need, representing a golden age of computing for the technology industry and beyond. The audience was creatively inspired by Oracle AI technology that unleashes innovations and transforms industries.
Moreover, the power of AI has the potential to modernize the education sector by enhancing learning experiences, supporting educators, and offering more personalized learning opportunities for students. The speakers noted that we need to equip them with knowledge and skills in AI technology to improve and streamline their daily activities, including classroom implementation.
