Oracle Academy collaborated with PesonaEdu Solution to host a Knowledge Builder event, “Bringing Industry Skills to the Classroom with Oracle Academy,” on April 30, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event brought together 38 school leaders and educators from K-12 schools to explore how they can strengthen technology education and equip students with foundational skills for future careers in the IT industry.
PesonaEdu Solution, with collaborates with Oracle Academy on technology education initiatives, invited participants to learn how Oracle Academy supports schools with free teaching and learning resources in areas including database, programming, and cloud computing. Raynaldo Adeputra, CEO of PesonaEdu Solution, said the collaboration will help schools, teachers, and students enhance the quality of information technology. His remarks reflected the shared commitment of Oracle Academy and PesonaEdu Solution to help educators bring relevant, industry-aligned learning into the classroom by starting in fun ways.
Nurul Huda, Oracle Academy Manager, Southeast Asia, introduced Oracle Academy’s mission and global impact, presented the benefits of Oracle Academy membership, and shared how schools can integrate Oracle Academy curriculum into K-12 learning programs. The session also highlighted Oracle Academy’s free curriculum, teaching resources, and learning platform available to member institutions.
Participants expressed strong interest in the workshops Getting Started with Java using Alice and Creating Java Programs with Greenfoot as engaging ways to introduce programming concepts through project based-learning. During the session, Sukmana Dasuki Keeng, Program Manager, Oracle Academy Indonesia, demonstrated sample student projects created with Alice and Greenfoot, helping educators see how visual and interactive learning environments can make foundational programming concepts more approachable and understandable for K-12 learners.
Sukmana also led a session on how schools can register as Oracle Academy members and provided a live demonstration of the Oracle Academy Member Hub. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, giving educators an opportunity to better understand how Oracle Academy resources can be integrated into classroom instruction.
Through this collaboration, Oracle Academy and PesonaEdu Solution helped school leaders explore practical ways to make early IT learning engaging, strengthen teacher readiness, and expand students’ access to technology education.
