Are you an educator looking to add to your database course offerings? We’re pleased to introduce our new Oracle Academy Applied Database Systems curriculum, which introduces students to a range of foundational knowledge and skills required to build Oracle Database solutions.

This new offering in our database learning pathway focuses on Oracle Autonomous Database systems development with hands-on practice in basics, applications, data integration and management, database resiliency and security, and machine learning.

The curriculum is suited for your students of the legal age of majority, so they can use the Oracle Academy Cloud Program to build, deploy, integrate, secure, and manage enterprise applications.

How to use

  • If you’ve already taught the Database Foundations and Database Design and Programming with SQL curriculum, you can use this new offering to review design and SQL basics and then further expand on ‘what’s next?’ by applying it to Oracle Cloud Database concepts.

  • You also can use this curriculum to introduce Oracle Cloud database concepts and then further expand on designing databases or programming with SQL through the Database Design and Programming with SQL curriculum, or on application development using Oracle APEX Application Development Foundations.
  • Additionally, you can use this curriculum along with the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure I and II full curriculum, and with the numerous cloud-based hands-on labs and projects in our Education Bytes, to further expand knowledge of cloud technologies including Oracle Autonomous Database.
