Students from Bina Nusantara Computer Club (BNCC) joined Oracle Academy Student Day at Oracle Indonesia’s Jakarta office. The event brought together 43 students for a morning of learning focused on Oracle Academy resources, Oracle technologies, and emerging industry trends in April 2026.
The program opened with remarks from Kenzie, BNCC Chief Marketing Officer, followed by a presentation from Nurul Huda, Oracle Academy Manager, Southeast Asia. Students were introduced to Oracle Academy and learned how its educational resources can help them build practical technology skills and support future career development. Participants also explored pathways to Oracle professional certifications, helping them connect academic learning with industry expectations.
The event continued with a technical session led by Arif Afandi, Senior Sales Manager, Technology, Oracle Indonesia, and Deny Nursidiq, Principal Technology Solution & Cloud Architect. The speakers demonstrated how data and AI can work together to help organizations address business challenges. Students were introduced to Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle AI Database, Oracle Generative AI services, vector search capabilities, and AI-powered approaches to enterprise data access and document understanding.
The session also highlighted healthcare-related use cases, including hospital information systems, AI-assisted electronic medical record workflows, diagnostic support, and patient registration automation. Students learned how natural language interfaces can enable users to access data and gain insights without writing SQL, illustrating how AI can simplify interactions with enterprise data.
“Through Oracle Academy Student Day, we want students to see how the skills they build today can connect directly to real technology use cases in industry. By learning about Oracle Academy, Oracle Database, AI, and professional certification pathways, students can better prepare themselves for future opportunities in the digital economy,” said Sukmana Dasuki Keeng, Program Manager, Oracle Academy Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
Sebastian, a BNCC student, shared his experience and reflected on the value of learning through Oracle Academy. “Oracle Academy helped me understand how database, cloud, and AI concepts can connect to real industry use cases. This event gave me more motivation to keep building practical skills for my future career in technology,” he said.
The program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where students discussed topics including Oracle AI Database security, trusted data, governance, privacy, and secure cloud infrastructure with Oracle experts.
Through the event, students gained greater awareness of Oracle Academy resources, deeper exposure to real-world technology applications, and a stronger understanding of how database, cloud, and AI technologies are being used across industries. The experience also helped students connect academic learning with industry practice and explore future career opportunities in technology.
