Oracle Academy continued its support of the MoStart Conference, one of Southeast Europe’s leading conferences dedicated to digital transformation in education and the application of artificial intelligence. Held from April 23-25, 2026, at the University of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 2026 edition of the conference brought together educators, researchers, students, technology professionals, and industry leaders to explore how emerging technologies are reshaping education and society.
Hosted by the University of Mostar—one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s leading higher education institutions and one of Oracle Academy’s most active member institutions in the country—MoStart continues to strengthen collaboration among academia, industry, and the technology community, fostering innovation in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and education.
Organized by the University of Mostar and its Center for Information Technologies (SUMIT), MoStart became a regional platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The conference is built around three complementary themes—Education, IT, and Science—creating opportunities for participants to explore emerging technologies, exchange ideas, and discuss the future of digital learning, artificial intelligence, and research.
The 2026 edition welcomed around 1,100 participants and brought together schools, teachers, university faculty, students, researchers, technology professionals, and industry representatives. Thanks to the support of partners and sponsors, participants were able to attend the conference free of charge, reinforcing MoStart’s commitment to making knowledge, innovation, and digital transformation accessible to the wider education community.
As a sponsor, Oracle Academy was pleased to support an event that shares its vision of preparing learners for an AI-driven future. Through keynote presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and scientific sessions, participants explored topics including artificial intelligence in education, generative AI, educational technologies, digital transformation, cybersecurity, robotics, and startup innovation. The conference also highlighted practical applications of AI while encouraging thoughtful discussions about its ethical, educational, and societal implications.
The University of Mostar has been a valued Oracle Academy member institution for many years, integrating Oracle Academy resources into teaching and actively participating in initiatives that advance digital skills, innovation, and collaboration.
In the words of Dr. Daniel Vasić, Assistant Professor at the University of Mostar, and Member of the MoStart Organizing Committee, “MoStart was established to serve as a platform for connecting education, research, and industry, with a strong focus on digital transformation and the responsible use of emerging technologies. By bringing together educators, researchers, students, and technology professionals, the conference encourages the exchange of knowledge, practical experience, and ideas that contribute to the development of modern education and society. We greatly appreciate Oracle Academy’s continued support and recognition of MoStart’s role in strengthening digital skills, promoting innovation, and creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration across the region.”
Oracle Academy values its long-standing collaboration with the University of Mostar and is proud to support initiatives such as MoStart that connect education, research, and industry. Together, we are helping educators and students develop the knowledge, skills, and collaborative networks needed to thrive in an AI-driven future. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting opportunities that inspire innovation, strengthen digital skills, and prepare the next generation of technology leaders.
