Oracle Academy participated in the UNHCR roundtable and opportunities fair at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, where the event focused on expanding access to education, financial inclusion, and livelihood opportunities for refugee and displaced youth. Joining together global development partners, educators, financial institutions, and private sector leaders in a common purpose, the event brought together refugee and displaced youth with organizations committed to creating pathways toward education, employability, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion.
As an exhibitor, Oracle Academy welcomed hundreds of students and educators to its exhibit booth, where participants explored opportunities to access free technology education resources, digital learning pathways, and career development programs. Oracle Academy representatives demonstrated how technology education can equip students with in-demand skills in programming, cloud computing, data management, and emerging technologies.
In addition to exhibiting, Oracle Academy participated in a roundtable discussion focused on the role of education and technology in driving inclusion and economic empowerment for displaced communities. During the discussion, Oracle Academy staff highlighted the importance of digital literacy, accessible learning, and industry collaboration in preparing young people for the future workforce.
Oracle Academy’s participation reinforced its ongoing commitment to advancing equitable access to technology education worldwide. By engaging directly with refugee and displaced participants, Oracle Academy continues to support initiatives that empower learners with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
