Oracle Academy Cloud Day Tanzania brought together educators, students, and Oracle experts at Ardhi University for an engaging exploration of how cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and low-code application development technologies are reshaping the future of education.

Centered around the theme “Future-Ready Learning Starts Here: Cloud and AI,” the event, organized by Serengeti Bytes, created a space for collaboration, innovation, and practical learning. Participants explored how emerging technologies are transforming classrooms, research environments, and workforce readiness across higher education institutions in Tanzania.

The event combined interactive discussions with hands-on demonstrations, giving attendees practical exposure to cloud technologies, AI tools, application development, and digital learning resources. A major focus throughout the day was helping educators better understand how technology can be integrated into teaching and learning to create more engaging, industry-relevant experiences for students.

One of the highlights of the event was the practical demonstration of Oracle Cloud, AI, and Oracle APEX technologies—all available free of charge through Oracle Academy—showcasing how universities can leverage modern platforms to support innovation, research, and application development. Participants explored how low-code tools and AI-driven solutions can simplify development processes, encourage experimentation, and help students build future-ready digital skills.

Discussions also focused on the growing importance of collaboration between academia and industry in preparing graduates for a rapidly evolving technology landscape. Participants exchanged ideas on digital transformation, innovation, employability, and the need to equip students with hands-on experience using technologies relevant to the modern workplace. Oracle Academy Cloud Day Tanzania concluded with strong engagement, meaningful conversations, and renewed momentum around cloud adoption, AI learning, and digital innovation within Tanzania’s higher education ecosystem
