For the fourth consecutive year, the international online conference “Digital Education 2023” was organized by the Center for Educational Technologies of the Western Balkans in collaboration with partners. The conference was held on April 28 – 29, 2023, with the aim of improving the quality of education through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT).
Oracle Academy was proud to be a Gold Partner of the conference for the fourth time, and staff were delighted to discuss the ways that the Oracle Academy free program ― which includes the Oracle Academy Cloud Program, Oracle APEX, Database and Java curriculum as well as AI, Oracle Primavera, and other resources ― can help educators to advance technology education, skills, innovation, and diversity and inclusion.
Oracle Academy’s free teaching and learning resources were presented by Dusa Vukovic, Oracle Academy Instructor, and Ljiljana Krkic, Oracle Academy Program Manager, in front of more than 1,200 educators on the first day of the conference. During the second day of the conference, there were four separate tracks, for preschool, primary and secondary education, higher education and inclusive education.
One of the key topics of the conference was artificial intelligence and its use in education. As part of that, some of the Oracle Academy curriculum such as Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning in Java and Oracle Academy Education Bytes with the Oracle Red Bull Racing partnership were discussed as well.
Oracle Academy has been engaged with educators in Serbia for more than 15 years and continues to offer guidance, experience, valuable educational resources, and cutting-edge technologies to the educational sector in Serbia.
Educators engaged in working with students in ICT area were invited to attend an Oracle Academy Day, being organized live in Belgrade, on May 29, at the Hotel Hyatt Regency, starting at 10:30 a.m.
