We were delighted to gather various professors, assistants and other educators from Bulgarian educational institutions, the majority of whom are long-time members of Oracle Academy. The event was delivered in our Oracle office in Sofia, organized by Oracle Academy Program Manager Ljiljana Krkic and supportive colleagues from Oracle.
Ljiljana shared general as well as practical details regarding the available Oracle Academy programs, and her colleagues from Bulgaria shared lots of interesting and useful details from their rich experience with Oracle technologies, cloud solutions, and the educational perspective.
George Hira, Senior Technology Software Sales Representative, opened the conference, with a warm welcome and overview of the Oracle business in Bulgaria. Principal Technology Architect Daniela Milanova shared details about Oracle technologies and their use in business and education, including practical usage of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Principal Account Cloud Engineer George Moykin shared his experience regarding Oracle Cloud Solutions, with the emphasis on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Georgi Bekiarov, CX Architect, focused on his experience with Oracle Cloud Solutions. As he is also teaching at VUZF University, he was able to share his perspective from the faculty standpoint as well.
The event was half a day long, and went very well, with a lot of exchange of experiences, discussions, and laughter. Some of the educators knew each other from some past projects, so were happy to reunite and chat.
Everyone agreed the event was very useful, and there was no question that remained unanswered. Comments from faculty included: “Very well organized, acknowledging, problem-solving with the best lecturers and thematic selection”, and “Fruitful and best organized event in Sofia.”
We are very much looking forward to our future events and activities in Bulgaria.
