Introduction

The installation process for TimesTen 18.1 Classic is simple and consists of three steps.

1. Choose your Platform

Oracle TimesTen 18.1 is currently available on Linux and IBM AIX platforms.

The TimesTen 18.1 software is available for download on the Oracle Technology Network.

Download Agreement

After accepting the OTN License Agreement, download the ZIP file for Linux or IBM AIX.

Download the Oracle TimesTen ZIP file

Once the ZIP file has been downloaded and moved to the target Linux or AIX machine, then unzip the file in a desired directory.

You now have a TimesTen installation on your target machine.

The next step is to create a TimesTen instance on your target machine.
