We are committed to helping you maximize the potential of your Oracle investment with Continuous Innovation on Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2—delivering ongoing applications and technology updates without a major upgrade—along with Oracle Premier Support for Oracle E-Business 12.2, through at least 2031.
Oracle E-Business Suite customers historically have adopted new versions of middleware technology along with a new applications code level via a major release upgrade. Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 is now committed to a Continuous Innovation release model, as are the other Applications Unlimited products. The Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 release decouples the update of middleware technology from the update of applications functionality. Once running on 12.2, you can take new application updates while retaining your current version of middleware technology. When there is an update of the middleware technology, you can apply the update while retaining your current applications code level.
Thousands of the world’s leading organizations rely on Oracle E–Business Suite to run their key business operations. Oracle continues to invest in the suite with a focus on functional advances, mobility, UI modernization, and operational efficiency. At the same time, Oracle is providing a steady stream of cloud infrastructure innovations and complementary SaaS applications to provide you with the enhanced capabilities and practical coexistence strategies to optimize your Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
Oracle Premier Support for EBS Release 12.1 is available through December 2021. Accordingly, customers running EBS 12.1 need to prepare to move beyond EBS 12.1 by the end of 2021.
If you are running Oracle-E-Business Suite 12.1.3 and plan to move to 12.2 or to Oracle’s SaaS applications, but cannot complete the transition prior to January 1, 2022, you can use Oracle Market-Driven Support for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1, offered by Oracle Advanced Customer Services, to bridge the support gap. Available for 2022 and 2023, the offering includes the following service components not available with Oracle Sustaining Support:
