Over a week ago we announced the release of the first Oracle Solaris 11.4 CBE, which was initially only available through the pkg.oracle.com/solaris/release repository. We have now also released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 CBE on the Downloads page. This means you can download the Text Installer, the AI Boot Image, and the IPS repository ISO and USB images for Oracle Solaris CBE on SPARC and x86 so you can install it that way too.
We’ve also updated the Source Code for Open Source Software Components page to include the Oracle Solaris 11.4 CBE so you can track everything there too.
So, download the CBE, try it out and feel free to give us feedback on the solaris-userland and oraclesolaris-contrib GitHub pages.
