We’ve just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU95 SRU. It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from (My Oracle Support Doc ID KB631614.)

Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU95 introduces several new or modified Solaris interfaces and platform capabilities, including:

  • Provider defaults and multiple-provider selection for zpool monitor
  • CTF support for the .SUNW_ldynsym symbol table
  • The ld -zrelax=relocfit linker option and ELF DF_SUNW_RELAX_RELOCFIT flag
  • Updates to nvmeadm
  • Enhancements to fmdump
  • Timezone data updated to 2026c

Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU95 includes security fixes across a wide range of components, including 7-Zip, Ansible Core, Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, BIND, Django, Elixir, Erlang, Firefox, Thunderbird, Go, GnuTLS, ImageMagick, libarchive, libexpat, libgcrypt, libsodium, MySQL, NSS, OpenSSH, Rust, SQLite, Squid, Vim, and Wireshark.
Additional security fixes cover GNOME components, Avahi, curl, libtiff, Memcached, Net-SNMP, ProFTPD, CUPS, jq, Kerberos, Node.js, Perl, Python, Samba, and X11 components.
