Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU38

We’ve just released Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU38, the October 2021 CPU. It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

The following components have been updated to address security issues:

• Apache Web Server has been updated to 2.4.51
• Firefox has been updated to 78.14.0esr
• HMP has been updated to 2.4.8.0.1
• MySQL 5.7 has been updated to 5.7.35
• Node.js 12 has been updated to 12.22.5
• Node.js 14 has been updated to 14.17.6
• OpenSSL 1.1.1 has been updated to 1.1.1l
• PHP 8.0 has been updated to 8.0.10
• Thunderbird has been updated to 78.14.0
• Wireshark has been updated to 3.4.7
• krb5 has been updated to 1.18.4
• memcached has been updated to 1.6.9
• Plus security updates to gnome/multimedia, library/gd2, library/libsndfile, utility/ghostscript, utility/perl
