We’ve just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU54. It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.
 

This SRU adds the following new features or modified interfaces:

  • libsuri(3lib) support for 16 byte EUI-64 based logical unit names
  • Added ‘snapdestroy’ to ZFS delegated permissions
  • ls(1) added -/V to list system attributes in verbose short mode
  • sharectl ktrace property for autofs
  • ::poke – a type aware mdb dcmd for poking memory
  • libdiskmgt support for legacy volume managers
  • Automatic Active Directory computer account password change
  • MDB API to disable pager
  • Renaming of chrome-gnome-shell to gnome-browser-connector
  • The –scale option has been added to the following commands: dlstat(8), flowstat(8), ipstat(8), quota(8), ramdiskadm(8), tcpstat(8)
  • dd(1) support for size suffixes beyond kilo (k)
  • Mdb type support for dcmds and walkers
  • Python pymemcache reintroduced
  • Python 3.11 integrated
  • libxcvt 0.1.2 integrated
  • LDoms Manager now utilizes OpenSSL v3
  • Resolved performance issue with Kernel Zones networking when hosted in an LDoms guest domain
  • Updated several sun4v modules to leverage mdb’s new type-aware API
