We’ve just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU92 CPU. It is available via ‘pkg update’ from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from (My Oracle Support Doc ID KB631614.)
The following packages have been updated to address security issues:
- Django 4.2 to 4.2.29
- Django 5.2 to 5.2.12
- Firefox to 140.8.0esr
- Golang to 1.25.8
- Pillow to 12.1.1
- Thunderbird to 140.8.0esr
- pypdf to 6.9.0
- pyasn1 to 0.6.2
- vim to 9.1.2148
Oracle Solaris 11.4.92 and later versions have adopted a two-update-per-quarter release cadence featuring a Critical Patch Update (CPU) for security and bug fixes, followed by a Support Repository Update (SRU) six weeks later for new features and fixes.
