Logistics organizations today operate in an environment defined by complexity, speed, and regulatory scrutiny. From navigating global trade compliance to orchestrating transportation and warehouse execution, logistics leaders require systems that are intelligent, intuitive, and adaptable. With the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud Logistics updates in Release 26A, Oracle continues to advance its transportation management, global trade management and warehouse management portfolio through targeted innovations in artificial intelligence, mobile experiences, and the Redwood user interface—helping organizations meet evolving logistics requirements with greater efficiency and confidence.

Embedded AI Agents for Smarter Warehouse Operations

Warehouse operations generate vast amounts of data, yet extracting actionable insight quickly remains a challenge. In Release 26A, Oracle introduces its first embedded AI Agents for Logistics within Oracle Warehouse Management, built using the Fusion AI Agent Studio.

Figure 1: AI Agent in WMS: Wave Research Advisor

The Wave Research Advisor analyzes and summarizes wave execution results, identifies issues and root causes, and delivers actionable recommendations. Warehouse supervisors can rapidly understand what went wrong, why it happened, and how to optimize wave configurations and inventory strategies going forward. By embedding AI directly into operational workflows, Oracle empowers teams to move from reactive problem-solving to proactive optimization.

The Task Management Assistant identifies potential at-risk orders that are missing a planned ship date. The AI agent provides key order details for immediate supervisor review, enables rapid task reprioritization to address shipping delays, and reduces manual effort for at-risk orders. This improves shipment reliability and fulfillment.

The Inventory Expiry Assistant analyzes remaining shelf life for lot-controlled inventory automatically and shows expired and soon-to-expire inventory items for review. Because it highlights high-risk materials requiring urgent attention and action, supervisors can proactively take corrective actions before the inventory expires and notifies stakeholders to drive timely decisions and prevent compliance issues.

Simplifying Global Trade Compliance with Redwood UI

Global trade compliance remains a critical—and often time-consuming—component of logistics operations. In Oracle Global Trade Management, the new Redwood user experience for ad-hoc restricted party screening introduces a streamlined, task-focused workbench designed to improve both productivity and accuracy.

This enhanced experience simplifies data entry, allowing users to perform multiple screenings within a single session and directly compare results side by side. Users can also save and print screening outcomes, supporting audit trails and compliance documentation. By combining a modern Redwood interface with compliance-centric functionality, Oracle helps trade professionals reduce friction while maintaining rigorous regulatory standards.

A Modern Mobile Experience for Transportation Management

Mobile access is no longer optional in logistics—it is essential. Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) now delivers a refreshed mobile application built on Redwood technology, bringing a modern design and improved usability to logistics teams on the move.

The updated OTM mobile app leverages Redwood templates to provide cleaner navigation, optimized workflows, and a consistent look and feel aligned with other Oracle mobile solutions. This consistency reduces training effort and accelerates adoption, while enabling transportation professionals to stay connected to critical execution activities anytime, anywhere.
