Recently, our customers approached our PeopleSoft Information Development team with an important request. They wanted more detailed information on how to set up new features and functionality delivered within our PeopleSoft Update Images.
In response to this customer request, we are excited to announce a two-part solution:
- We are adding the “Setting Up the <new feature>” sections where we review the setup steps for new features.
These new sections will make the new feature setup steps easier to find. We will also include security information, such as roles and permission lists, when necessary.
- For longer, more complex processes, we are creating detailed tutorials and posting them to the Oracle Help Center.
We have already started the process of including setup sections within our documentation, and going forward, these sections will be standard practice for new features.
