The Recruiter can now capture an applicant’s Date of Birth and Social Security Number during the Recruitment Job Offer process.

With this release, customers are temporarily limited to the capture of US Social Security Number for external applicants who have applied for job postings in the US or have an US address.
The Recruiting Administrator can view the applicant data details on the Applicant Data Tab > Eligibility and Identity. Then once the applicant is hired the data can be transferred to HR through Manage Hires.

A drop zone is available below the Date of Birth so customers can add their own additional fields if needed. For more information about Drop Zones please refer to Understanding Drop Zones in Enterprise Components in PeopleBooks.
This is the first phase of capturing additional information. We anticipate more enhancements soon to include capturing National ID number and configuration to capture Driver’s License data as well. We are also looking at the ability to make the fields required and the ability to override the request at the actual job offer level as well.
As HR provides fluid self-service for Visa and Citizenship, we plan to provide more flexibility for capturing this data as well.
So, stay tuned as even more enhancements for the Job Offer is expected.
