How incredible would it be to have a round-the-clock personal assistant, looking up your directory to provide quick, accurate and precise information? Released in HCM Update Image 33, PeopleSoft’s new chatbot aims to give you this exact experience. Like Absence Assistant, this chatbot is designed using Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) – Oracle bot technology platform.
Introducing Employee Directory Assistant, an inquiry chatbot that fetches contact, job and reporting information for any employee in your organization. Like any other human conversation, you can ask questions like ‘show John Doe’s contact details’, ‘which team does John Doe manage?’, ‘where does John Doe work?’ or ‘what is John Doe’s email?’, and the bot gets you the required and precise information.
Similar to Absence Chatbot, Employee Directory Assistant is designed using the scalable PeopleSoft Chatbot Integration Framework or CIF (refer Online Help ) to securely integrate with ODA. Users can access this chatbot by adding the Employee Directory Assistant tile to their preferred homepage.
