PeopleSoft events 2024

This is the perfect time to start making plans for important events that impact you as an Oracle PeopleSoft customer. To prepare, you will need to know what those events are, when are they scheduled, and the justification for including them on your to do list this year.  You do not need to attend them all, but depending on your availability, I recommend attending at least one in-person event and one virtual event throughout the year.

Let’s look at what’s in store for you in 2024.

PeopleSoft SIG 2024 – India  February 8 – 9 (Bangalore, India)

PeopleSoft SIG India 2024

For those of you based in Southeast Asia, consider joining this free, PeopleSoft special interest group in-person event. It is two full days of PeopleSoft content delivered and hosted by PeopleSoft subject matter experts based out of the Oracle India Development Center.

Quest PeopleSoft Week:  Game Changers  February 26 – March 1  (Virtual)

Gamechangers week

This week-long virtual education session is free to Quest members.  Each day of this week focuses on a different game changing technology for PeopleSoft customers.  Topics will include:  Usability and Search, Configuration Tools, Lifecycle Management, Analytic Insights, and PeopleTools Upgrades.

Oracle Federal Forum  April 25 (Washington, DC)

Federal Forum

This year marks the return of the highly successful Oracle Federal Forum in Washington, DC – the first since the pandemic.  This is an important Oracle event to attend if you are an IT employee with – or contractor for – the US Federal government, intelligence agencies, or military organizations.  This one-day event will cover all things Oracle, including cloud technologies and how they impact you as a PeopleSoft Federal customer.

Quest Blueprint 4D  May 7 – 10 (Dallas, TX)

Blueprint 4D

Blueprint 4D is the only global conference for PeopleSoft customers that is in-person and will have Oracle PeopleSoft subject matter experts, product managers, technical support, and leadership teams in attendance.  The PeopleSoft team alone will be presenting 40+ sessions covering nearly all aspects of your PeopleSoft deployment.  PeopleSoft customers and partners will be presenting sessions as well. You will also have the option to learn about Oracle cloud technologies in a separate education track.  The content will cover recently delivered features, roadmap items, and strategic initiatives. You will have access to PeopleSoft subject matter experts for all 4 days of the event with plenty of opportunities to network and collaborate with other PeopleSoft customers.

PSadmin.conf  May 20 – 22 (Minneapolis, MN)

PSadmin.conf

This event is specifically designed for technical PeopleSoft Administrators. Attendees will hear from expert administrators on a variety of technical topics as well as hands-on training from Oracle ACEs. The goal of the conference is to expand your knowledge of PeopleSoft Administration and network with administrators from around the country.

OHUG Ascend  June 17 – 20 (Las Vegas, NV)

Ascend

This annual conference sponsored by the Oracle HR User Group is a fun and informative event.  It is one of the very few Human Resources focused, in-person conferences for Oracle customers. Note that the Ascend conference is also sponsored by the Oracle Applications & Technology Group (OATUG) so your HR technical staff can benefit from attending as well.

Customer Advisory Board  (Virtual)

CAB

We are looking forward to hosting our next Customer Advisory Board (CAB) event in August. This event is by invite only. CAB members discuss strategic initiatives that Oracle PeopleSoft are planning and provide their feedback.  Click here if you are interested in learning more about the CAB and what the pre-requisites are for becoming a member.

CloudWorld  Sept 9 – 12 (Las Vegas, NV)

CloudWorld

Whether you are running your PeopleSoft applications on premise or in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, it is a good idea to attend CloudWorld. This conference has effectively replaced OpenWorld and offers opportunities to learn about what new technologies are available in the Cloud.  You will learn what life would be like if your organization decides to transition to Cloud applications. You also can learn about the cloud-enabled applications that you can leverage today while running PeopleSoft.

Quest Reconnect Dive Deep  Oct 28 – 31 (Virtual)

Reconnect Dive Deep

This conference is one of the best values when it comes to PeopleSoft content. It is purely focused on PeopleSoft.  Quest offers an enterprise-wide registration option that allows your organization unlimited attendance for one relatively low registration fee. The Product team’s presentations dive deep into a variety of product, technology, and functional areas from setup to configuration to user experience.

Regional & Industry Events

The list above is by no means the only PeopleSoft events taking place this year. There are a number of regional and/or industry events that are typically hosted by Oracle PeopleSoft customers, partners, or local Oracle sales teams. Some examples include: Pacific Northwest Regional User Group, United Kingdom Oracle User Group, Spain Oracle User Group, Higher Education User Group.
