As announced in September 2024, all readiness resources can now be accessed from the Oracle Help Center. Spend less time searching for your bookmarks and go directly to the Oracle Help Center for all the most current information for your release. All release resources are in one place: “What’s New”, Spotlight Videos and Demos, and the Online Help.
Finding the “What’s New”
From the Oracle Help Center, you can click on the Cloud Applications Readiness > See What’s New link to access the “What’s New” content.
To access the Permitting and Licensing content click Industries > Public Sector.
The Public Sector Cloud Applications Readiness page will display the most current readiness content. By selecting “All” in the Select a Release drop down you can see the latest releases. Additionally, you can access content prior to July 2024, by clicking the “Readiness content prior to July 2024”.
Create custom reports
Previously, the “What’s New” included a Feature Summary which listed the features in the release and the type impact for the feature such as Report, UI or Process-Based Small Scale or UI or Process-Based Larger Scale, or if action is needed to enable the feature.
Now on Oracle Help Center, you can run custom reports that will allow you to pull the features from multiple releases as well as multiple products.
From the Release Readiness page, select Create Custom Report from the left-hand navigation pane.
You can start your custom report by selecting your products. Click in the search bar and enter “Permitting and Licensing”.
Click Select Module(s).
Select the modules and offerings you want to use to create your report. Note that “Permitting and Licensing Common” apply to all the offerings.
Click Select Update(s). Click in the search bar to select the update(s) that you want to populate your report.
Click See Report.
Click Download full report to download your report. You’ll see all the features included in the releases you chose. It will also show if the feature has been updated, if there’s setup required, and if there’s an opt-in for the feature when the opt-in expires.
Spotlight videos and demos
In addition to the “What’s New” content, you can also find the Permitting and Licensing spotlight videos and demos from the Release Readiness page. Our most recent spotlight video will appear at the top of the Permitting and Licensing Release Readiness page. You can also access previous videos from the left navigation panel.
Click Demos from the left navigation panel. Click Industry Demos.
There you will find the Public Sector Permitting and Licensing Spotlight videos for the most recent releases.
We’ve also created a new YouTube channel where you can find all the Permitting and Licensing spotlight videos.

Navigate to Categories > More > Permitting and Licensing to get to the Oracle Permitting and Licensing main page. Here you can ask a question, search through already asked questions, and find announcements from Oracle.
The Idea lab (found under Ideas > More > Permitting and Licensing) is a forum that allows you to add any ideas or suggestions for new feature functionality. Our strategists and product managers frequently review this site to get a better understanding for what our customers need. You can see the status of the ideas in real time and vote for those ideas that you want to see. It’s a great place for collaboration between you and the Oracle Permitting and Licensing team.
