Oracle Permitting and Licensing 25A was released on January 3, 2025. This release contains many useful features for our offerings: Permits, Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, and Business Licenses. In addition to the features released to enhance the products, we also included Redwood Experience pages to enhance and streamline the user experience.
New features include –
Enable AI Assist in Ad hoc Communication
We’re excited to introduce our first feature leveraging Oracle’s AI Assist functionality to enhance our ad hoc communications. This feature helps agency staff automate ad hoc emails and notifications that are professional as well as informative all by using a simple prompt as a guide.
Contractor Dashboard
You can now see several contractor license-related analyses like Top 10 contractors with the highest number of transactions, contractor licenses by status, and contractor insurers information in a convenient dashboard. The dashboard creates visual analytics for contractor information for easy viewing.
Audit History for License Transactions
A new Audit History tab is available on the Business License page. You can search for actions, date ranges, and parcel IDs as well as other values to find, filter, and sort the audit information. Included are tabs for Business Licenses, Business Tax Related Data, and more!
Redwood Experience for Permit Application Details
Continuing our move to a streamlined user experience, the Permit Application Details page has been enhanced using Visual Builder Studio technology. Enhanced usability, easy to use navigation, and a clean user interface are all part of the Permit Application Details page. The Redwood Experience is included in many of the pages for submitted permit applications.
