Observability and Management (O&M) is now in its second generation with Oracle O&M Cloud Services integrated on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Oracle’s first-generation O&M cloud services platform is being retired.
Migrating to generation 2 O&M Cloud services provides greater automation, is OCI role-based access control compliant, and is available in all OCI dedicated and Government regions. Customer data can be stored according to local data management rules built using Open Standard for a broader application coverage and integration. Oracle has assigned “the End of Life” status to the Oracle Management Cloud Services. See MOS note: OMC EOL Notice MOS Note (2924670.1).
As shown below. The last date of these OMC services will be January 31, 2024. Oracle recommends that OMC Services customers migrate to the new O&M Services before the last date of service.
