OSCs (Open Source Conferences) are local OS conferences taking place in several towns in Japan, MySQL is being part of every year.

After April 2023, OSC returned as a physical event after 3 years as a virtual event. With this comeback, the MySQL team and MyNA(MySQL Nippon Association) were back with several technical sessions and the MySQL booth.

The MyNA was founded in March 2000 and has contributed to the spread of MySQL in Japan for many years through information exchange via mailing lists, offline events and publish MySQL book, etc. After COVID-19, they also held online events that contributed to the exchange of information among MySQL users. They have had a booth and seminars at the OSC for many years, which has been of great help to MySQL beginners and users.

The MySQL team has also had provides a booth and seminars at the OSC for many years, providing the latest information on MySQL and answering questions about MySQL, etc.

The MyNA and MySQL team participated in the following OSCs that have returned as physical events since April 2023.

In addition, we interacted with many MySQL users not only at the seminar but also at our booth. We are happy to have this opportunity to interact face-to-face again.
