Securing a position that allowed her to collaborate with a diverse group of people to help clients of all shapes and sizes, was the technical consultant’s long-term goal – now she lives her dream every day and shares why she loves life at Oracle.

She explains “the work I’m doing is bounded by technology, people, and diverse business processes. We help clients identify the underlying barriers to address, talking through the setbacks and turning them into long-term success.”
Acknowledging that adapting to new technologies can be challenging for her clients, she puts in the hours to work with them and walk each individual through the transition.

Erika’s advice for new starters
“It takes a lot to succeed in the consulting world but the more trust you build, consistency you show, and skills you develop early on, the more opportunities you’ll get in the future.” She thinks, “it’s mostly about perseverance and self-belief. While you do all these things, have fun and enjoy every moment of it.”
