Lower standard annual pricing for small, medium, and emerging organizations

The change recognizes the increasing use of Java among small, medium, and emerging organizations, as AI adoption brings new capabilities to the applications that run their businesses.

Supporting Java’s Growing Role in AI

As organizations integrate AI into their operations, they connect new capabilities with existing business systems. Java applications and services connect AI integrations to the business logic, data, and systems powering core operations—from financial transactions and supply chains to customer experiences and digital services. Java’s role in providing AI with trusted access to business systems and data is highlighted in the recent Java 27 announcement.

This expanding role for Java extends to small, medium, and emerging organizations, where teams are integrating AI into existing applications and building new services. The new pricing model aligns with that growth by substantially simplifying the pricing and purchasing for Java SE Universal Subscription.
