Oracle has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Translytical Data Platforms, Q4 2022. For our past Wave results, see this post I did back in 2019 and this post from way back in 2017.

As a reminder, per The Translytical Data Platforms Landscape, Q3 2022, Forrester defines a translytical data platform as "a unified real-time data platform that simultaneously supports multiple workloads (e.g., transactional, operational, analytical, and streaming), enabling data consistency, concurrency, transactional integrity, self-service and automation, and analytical accuracy while leveraging in-memory, multimodel, in-built-analytics, and AI/ML capabilities."

In the 2022 Forrester Wave™ report, Oracle received the highest scores in both the Current Offering and Strategy categories and received the highest possible score in the Market Presence category. See this page to review the entire report.

Oracle Database combined with Oracle Database In-Memory provides blazingly fast analytic query capabilities and legendary transactional performance while allowing the ability to use all Oracle Database technology and no application changes are required. See the Oracle Database In-Memory page to get started learning about Database In-Memory.
