Oracle’s Permitting and Licensing 24D was released on October 4, 2024, with exciting new features for each of our offerings: Permits, Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, and Business Licenses. Not only did we release exciting new features to enhance Permitting and Licensing, but we also released Redwood Experience features to enhance and streamline the user experience.

Many new features include –

Reschedule and Cancel Actions Inspections Relocated

The option to reschedule or cancel inspections has been relocated within the application details for Permits and Business License offerings that have inspections implemented. Logged in registered public users must go through the inspection details to cancel but can easily reschedule from the Inspections List page.

Generate Calendar Entry for Hearings

You can now set up business rules through the Business Rules Framework to send a calendar invite attached to the notification sent to the interested parties for hearings. These events include Hearing Canceled, Hearing Rescheduled, and Hearing Schedule Finalized.

Fee and Payments Summary

We’ve added a new Fees and Payments summary tab to the Business License to simplify the view of fees, payments, and credits on any given business license over multiple license periods. On the Fees and Payments summary page, you can see all fee and payment transactions over the life of the business license.
