Oracle Permitting and Licensing 24A was released in January 5, 2024. This release includes new features from each of our offerings: Permits, Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement and Business Licenses.
Over 33 features were included in 24A –
Permits: Assign Inspectors without a Start Time
Some agencies want to have a more generic approach to scheduling inspections. This new feature allows you to set appropriate expectations for inspection scheduling by only allowing a date without a time selection. You can configure the maximum number of inspections for any given inspector for each date. The flexibility is built in so you can select exactly how you want to schedule your inspections – date only, specific times, or a time range.
Business Licenses: Renew and Pay for Multiple Business Licenses
Simplify the business renewal process by configuring your Business License offering to allow for renewal and payment for multiple business licenses at one time. This saves your business owners the frustration of selecting each license one at a time to renew and pay and allows them to do it all in one transaction.
Permitting and Licensing Common: Replace an Applicant on an Application
Occasionally applicants listed on an application are no longer responsible for the transaction. You can now replace that applicant with another contact that is registered with Permitting and Licensing. You can select a new applicant from the Contacts page in the application details. You can also view previous applicants, owners, contractor contacts among others.
