WebLogic Server and Coherence 15c (15.1.1.0) is now available on the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud as well as Oracle.com.
WebLogic Server and Coherence 15.1.1.0 provide full Jakarta EE 9.1 platform support, are certified with Java 17 and 21, and are also certified for use with Oracle JDBC 23ai drivers. These 15c distributions are available on Linux64 and Windows64.
Oracle WebLogic Server and Coherence are fully integrated in the 15.1.1 release. Oracle Coherence 15.1.1 offers customers continued performance and availability benefits, along with new Oracle Coherence features like Vector DB, Lucene Full-Text indexing, Coherence RAG. WebLogic Server introduces a new way to manage certificates in WebLogic domains. Certificate Management Service automates cert generation, distribution, and auto renewal of certificates. It supports certificates issued by the embedded WebLogic CA, external Certificate Authorities, and the OCI Certificates service. Certificate Management is available as a Technical Preview, full support for this feature will be provided in upcoming updates to WebLogic Server 15.1.1.
WebLogic Server and Coherence 15.1.1 are available in the Oracle Container Registry:
These images are built on Oracle Linux 8 and 9 slim and JDK 17 and 21. These container images, facilitate running these products in Containers or Kubernetes.
