This post details the September 2025 releases.

Exadata System Software 25.2.2.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 25.2.2.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 25.2.x release. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 25.2.1.0.0 was released in August 2025
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Update for Oracle Linux 8 and Oracle Linux 7 with critical and security updates

Exadata System Software 25.1.9.0.0 Update is now generally available.

The Exadata 25.1.9 release is recommended for all systems to get the latest functionality, bug fixes, and security updates.

All Exadata systems under support should update to Exadata System Software 25.1.9.0.0.

Exadata 25.1.9.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 25.1.x release. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 25.1.8.0.0 was released in August 2025
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack updates for Oracle Linux 8 and Oracle Linux 7 with critical and security updates

Exadata System Software 24.1.16.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Note : For Exadata System Software 24.1 release, December 2025 (24.1.19.0.0) is the final update.

Exadata 24.1.16.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 24.1.x release. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 24.1.15.0.0 was released in August 2025
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Update for Oracle Linux 8 with critical and security updates
