We often get asked how best to keep up to date with the latest information being published in My Oracle Support (MOS). Given the sheer volume of products and services at Oracle, it can be somewhat daunting to trawl through this vast ocean of useful information and find what you are looking for AND then keep updated with what is specifically useful for you in your day to day operations.

So, what should you keep a close eye on in MOS? I’m glad you asked! This post is intended to give you an up-to-date list of the most useful and important MOS notes related to Exadata.

With the move to the new MOS system, there is a remapping of what are now called “Legacy documents” to the new MOS Article IDs. Ive started mapping the old to new in the table below, but for those I haven’t gotten to yet, or if you’re looking for another article I don’t track below, you should read and bookmark/favorite this one:

NEWS20 – Finding knowledge articles in My Oracle Support

Summary
We recently migrated knowledge articles to the new My Oracle Support portal. Some older bookmarks and in-article anchors may not open the expected page. Your content is still available, but article IDs and link structures may have changed. Use the steps below to locate your articles and update your bookmarks.

Without further ado, here is a list of MOS Notes I keep a very close eye on. This is not a definitive list of all notes that pertain to Exadata, or Oracle Database & GI, but the really important ones I think you should check on a very regular basis (more on how to do this shortly).
