Exadata System Software Update 21.2.4.0.0

Exadata System Software 21.2.4.0.0 Update is now generally available. 21.2.4.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of 21.2.X releases. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 21.2.3.0.0 was released in August 2021
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Updates for Oracle Linux 7 and Oracle Linux 6 with critical and security updates
  • Updated ILOM 5.0 firmware on X5-2, X6-2, and X5-8 servers with the latest important fixes and security updates
  • Updated RDMA Ethernet Card firmware
  • Updated firmware for 3.2TB Flash Cards on X6-2 Storage Servers

Exadata System Software 20.1.14.0.0

Exadata System Software 20.1.14.0.0 Update is now generally available. 20.1.14.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of 20.1.X releases. It contains the following:

  • Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 20.1.13.0.0 was released in August 2021
  • Latest Ksplice Uptrack Updates for Oracle Linux 7 and Oracle Linux 6 with critical and security updates
  • Updated ILOM 5.0 firmware on X5-2, X6-2, and X5-8 servers with the latest important fixes and security updates
  • Updated RDMA Ethernet Card firmware
  • Updated firmware for 3.2TB Flash Cards on X6-2 Storage Servers

Customers using Exadata X8M should update to Exadata System Software 20.1.x.0.0.

Note: Starting 20.1.x.0.0 release, the Storage and Database Server ISO/PXE image files are available only on edelivery/OSDC:

  1. Part V1017063-01 – Storage cell ISO/PXE image (20.1.14.0.0.210909)
  2. Part V1017064-01 – Database Server ISO/PXE image (20.1.14.0.0.210909)
