This post details the May 2025 releases.

Exadata System Software 25.1.5.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 25.1.5.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 25.1.x release. It contains the following:

  1. Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 25.1.4.0.0, released in April 2025
  2. Latest Linux Kernel Update for Oracle Linux 8 and Oracle Linux 7 with critical and security updates

Exadata System Software 24.1.12.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata System Software 24.1.12 is the recommended release for all systems under support. It provides the latest features, bug and security fixes. 

Exadata 24.1.12.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 24.1.x release. It contains the following:

  1. Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 24.1.11.0.0, released in April 2025
  2. Latest Ksplice Uptrack updates for Oracle Linux 8 with critical and security updates

Exadata System Software 23.1.26.0.0 Update is now generally available.

23.1.26 is the final maintenance release for  Exadata System Software 23.1. Exadata System Software 24.1.10 is the recommended release for all systems under support. It provides the latest features, bug, and security fixes. 

Exadata 23.1.26.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 23.1.25.0.0 release. It contains the following:

  1. Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 23.1.25.0.0, released in April 2025
  2. Latest Linux Ksplice Uptrack Updates for Oracle Linux 8 with critical and security updates
