What’s New?
- Support of Multiple VM Clusters for Exadata Database Service Dedicated
- When using an Exadata infrastructure that includes multiple VM Clusters, you select the VM Cluster on which to provision the database.
- Improved Transparent Database Encryption (TDE)
- When performing Transparent Database Encryption (TDE) as part of a provisioning or lift and shift exercise, multiple encryption processes are run in parallel to reduce the provisioning time.
- Relaxed Host Name Standards for Discovery of Manually Migrated Environments
- The EBS Cloud Manager Discovery feature no longer requires application tier and database tier host names to use an environment name prefix. This change is reflected in Standards Used by the Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager for Provisioning Oracle E-Business Suite on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (MOS Note 2656874.1).
Where Can I Obtain the Latest EBS Cloud Manager?
This depends on whether you are already using Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager.
- To install EBS Cloud Manager for the first time, follow the instructions to Implement Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager in Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager Guide.
- To update an existing EBS Cloud Manager installation, follow the instructions to Update Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Manager to the Latest Version.
