Did you know that you can now do an Express Receipt of a (LPN) shipped from Inventory to WMS?

This new feature in Release 12.2.14 enables users to ship boxes from Inventory (INV) organizations to a Warehouse Management System (WMS) enabled organization (org) that do not have end to end License Plate Number (LPN) implementation.

Changes to the architecture are made in 12.2.14 to support the express receipts of LPN’s shipped from Inventory organization to WMS enabled organization.

After defining the Shipping networks and a Container Item Relationship in the source INV org, you can create the requisition / order, pick release and then Auto-pack to generate the LPN.

To perform receiving in WMS org, navigate to Wshe Mgmt > Inbound > Express Receiving > Int Req and enter the internal requisition number and LPN that was used for shipping. This completes the receipt.
