New Feature Alert – Cycle Count with AME Approval Hierarchy

Do you have requirement to have qualified users approve Cycle Count Adjustments instead of anyone with access?

This is now made possible with new 12.2.9 feature of Oracle Inventory which integrates cycle count approvals with the Approvals Management Engine (AME). Prior to this, any user with access to cycle count approval form would be able to approve an adjustment.

To utilize this feature, a new checkbox has been added to inventory organization parameters form under ‘ATP, Pick, Item-Sourcing’  tab.

Once the cycle count is created and scheduled, upon saving data on Count Adjustment approvals summary form, a notification is sent to the approver as per the approver group setup in AME. After logging in to application, approver can see the notification and approve cycle count.
