Collect and diagnose your Flexfield data by downloading and running the NEW EBS Flexfields Analyzer (Doc ID 2753697.1).
The output of this report will identify and provide you with data to correct Flexfield issues such as:
- Descriptive Flexfields that need Compilation
- Key Flexfields that need Compilation
- Key Freeze Flexfields
- Key Flexfields found that have the Freeze box enabled but are not fully compiled
- Descriptive Flexfield segments that are defined with reserved words
- List of Flexfield Profile settings
- Flexfield recommended patches
Have the System Administrators / DBAs review the E-Business Suite Support Analyzer Bundle Menu Tool to install one or more Analyzers as Concurrent Programs. For more details take a look at (Doc ID 1939637.1).
Make sure to setup the AutoUpdate Concurrent Program, it allows E-Business Suite DBAs to install all Analyzers via a concurrent program. The Analyzer updates are done automatically, each month, without DBA intervention. The process is in the E-Business Suite Support Analyzer Bundle AutoUpdate Concurrent Program (Doc ID 2377353.1).
