Whats New?

MSCA In-App Personalization, is a feature of “Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS” mobile application, that empowers you to personalize MSCA pages directly from the smartphone.

Before this enhancement, warehouse users and administrators had to use the Oracle EBS application for personalizing MSCA pages.

This new “Personalization” page is preconfigured under the “MWA Administrator” responsibility.

You can customize the MSCA Menu by adding the “Personalization” to any desired responsibility or menu.

 

KEY FEATURE FUNCTIONS

At a high-level the In-App Personalization feature includes the following:

  •  Hide fields and buttons.
  •  Change the prompts for the fields and buttons.
  •  Provide default values to the fields.
  •  Copy the value of a field to another field.
  •  Set editable fields as read-only.
  •  Set non mandatory fields as mandatory.
  •  Activate or Deactivate personalization for specific Function, Organization or Responsibility.

 

The personalization can be done at three different levels. The levels in order of decreasing precedence are:

      1. Responsibility

      2. Organization

      3. Function

 

REQUIREMENTS

This feature is available with mobile client version 10.1.0 and Patch 36107030.
