
In the previous two articles of our analyzer series, we shared the importance of incorporating Support Analyzers into your regular maintenance and troubleshooting processes. Next week we’ll help you understand what analyzers are available to you, but first we want you to be aware of two tools that work together to simplify your usage of analyzers and ensure you are using the latest versions available. EBS has over 100 analyzers (and growing) covering many of the different EBS products, so without these two tools, analyzer management could be overwhelming. The Bundle Menu and the Auto Update tools make it simple!
The Analyzer Bundle Menu Tool is a simple menu system that provides an interface to download, install, access, and run the Support Analyzers. The Auto Update Tool can be installed quickly from the Bundle Menu and provides a way to update your analyzers with the newest and latest analyzers available, ensuring you are always up-to-date. Auto Update is scheduled as a concurrent program to automatically update your analyzer bundle every month – set it and forget it! Once installed, no database administrator or system administrator intervention is required. The following documents will get you started on streamlining your analyzer usage for not only troubleshooting issues, but also proactively identifying potential issues – before they become a problem.
