The following Phase 1 patches are now released, delivering the new SARS codes for Business Requirements Specifications (BRS)
The Business Requirements Specifications PAYE Employer Reconciliation (August 2020 release) Versions 19.0 to 19.3 introduced the following new codes that need to be considered for purposes of the application.
a) Code: 3618/3668 – Annuity from a Provident/Provident Preservation Fund (PAYE)
b) Code: 3724 – COVID-19 TERS Allowance
c) Code: 4055 – COVID-19 Donation
d) Code: 4587 – Section 10(1)(o)(ii) exemption taken into account by the employer for PAYE purposes
The patch numbers are:
- Release 12.1 Branch : Patch 31300910:R12.PAY.B
- Release 12.2 Branch : Patch 31300910:R12.PAY.C

The pre-requisite patch levels for support on this patch is R12.HR_PF.B.delta.12 for R12.1 Branch and R12.HR_PF.C.delta.13 for R12.2 branch.
