Have you ever needed to create transaction defaults for a huge number of items? Wondered if an easy and supported option was available?
A new public API (INV_CREATE_ITM_SUBLOC_DEF_PUB) is now available that inserts the item transaction defaults for subinventory (MTL_ITEM_SUB_DEFAULTS) as well as locator (MTL_ITEM_LOC_DEFAULTS).
This requirement took form from an idea logged in MOS Communities under the Logistics space. Multiple users had expressed interest in receiving this feature and were considered by Development for further review and implemented thereon.
